common questions

How do I make crostini to serve with this recipe?
Preheat the oven to 400°Fahrenheit. Use a bread knife to slice a baguette into 1-inch thick baguette slices. Brush the sliced baguette with olive oil on one side and place in a single layer on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes, then flip and bake for another 5 minutes until toasted. Set aside.

What type of dish should I bake this appetizer in?
I used an oven-safe enamel pan but you could use any type of oven-safe dish. A larger cast iron pan would make a lovely presentation for serving guests too (just make sure to let the pan cool a bit before serving).

Can I reheat the leftovers?
This baked feta is most delicious on the dates it’s made, however, you could also reheat at 325F in the oven until just softened again.

How can I make this feta dip for more people?
To make this recipe for more people, add a second block of feta cheese and double the rest of the ingredients to serve 6-8 people. Make sure to use a larger baking dish too.

    1. Hi there! I recommend baking it as the crockpot will most likely overbake the feta. For a large crowd use a large baking dish and double the recipe – it should work great that way 🙂 I hope that helps!
